Google Ads for Furnish.app

Client
Furnish.app

Project Duration
1 Month

Summary

Whilst working as a data labeller for Furnish.app, I managed to get to work on Google adverts to bring in new clients to use an app that would help them in their search for their next bit of furniture. This project involved research on Google ads, CTA design and layout design to ensure a strong advert that would work at bringing in prospective customers.

After many iterations and concepts, the 2nd image in the collection above was agreed upon as the one to use as it would work well at blending in with the websites they would be shown on.

The Process

As always the first step in the process was to research other ads being used by other companies to have a grasp of what was and wasn’t working. It then gave inspiration to what direction my concepts could go in when trying to illustrate just why a person should use the app.

This could have been done with prompts that highlighted issues that a person may be going through with their own attempt to find new furniture. Or even just a quick description of what the app was. “A.I. Personal Shopper” was used within a few of the concepts as a quick and interesting description of what the app was.

Whilst trying to illustrate what the app was, it was just as, if not more important to show how to get the app. Whether it be with a simple CTA saying “Try Now” or “Take our Quiz”. It needed to contrast well with the background in order to be quick to notice and easy to understand where it would take the customer.

After reviewing the concepts, we then made multiple iterations of the one ad to include all types of furniture to have a better chance of clicking with the right customer. They were made within Illustrator and adjusted for their size.
