Summary
The client here was looking for help with creating content for their audience on a financial assistance based Instagram account. They were looking strictly for posts and stories that would be designed around quotes from within the industry said by influential people. There was also one-off content such as adverts and celebrations of milestones achieved by the company.
This was my first contracted work as a freelancer, which introduced me to the intricacies of working with a client. Working closely with the branding guidelines to ensure cohesion between each new post.
The Process
The full duration of the project was a large showcase of different ways to manipulate text as it was always the greatest focus of each composition. So finding inspiration online helped to develop how to create a hierarchy and emphasise certain words in each quote.
It was also my first introduction to using plug-ins to speed up my workflow. For this project, I used the EZinertia plug-in which helped to bring some life to your project’s motions. Being able to add an elastic bounce to your movement brought a lot of fun to each composition. I’ve linked to the YouTube video if you’d like to get the script for your own projects.
